Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Physica Medica located, and how far do patients travel?
The clinic is at 800 S Bond St in the Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore. Patients come from Canton, Federal Hill, Towson, Columbia, Annapolis, and other parts of the metro. There is no geographic boundary. The question is whether the work is worth the drive. For most patients who've tried other options without lasting results, it is.
Not Sure Which Service Is Right for You?
You are not supposed to know. Choosing the modality is the practitioner’s job, and it happens after an assessment, not before one.
Send a short description of what hurts and what you have already tried. Dr. Birikov will review your message personally and let you know which approach fits your case, or tell you plainly if this is not the right room for it.

Before You Decide
How do I know which service or treatment is right for my condition?
You do not need to. Dr. Birikov assesses first, standing, moving, and with his hands, then selects the modality that matches what he finds. Patients who arrive asking for a specific technique often leave having had two others that were closer to the actual problem.
Can I combine multiple services in one session?
Most sessions already do. Dry needling, cupping, IASTM and manual release are frequently used within the same hour, in the order the tissue calls for. There is no per-modality charge and no package to select. The hour is the unit.
Do all services involve hands-on treatment?
Yes. Every service on this page is hands-on work performed by Dr. Birikov. The group offerings, Pancafit, Wim Hof Method workshops and seminars, are taught by him directly, with hands-on correction throughout.
